On Memorial Day, May 31, 2021, many faithful of our Holy Resurrection Cathedral joined together in prayer for the repose of our clergymen, brothers and sisters buried at Montrose Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
All of those founders, members and parishioners who have passed away, as well as those who gave their life for freedom and the honorable cross, were commemorated at today’s parastos. We thank all of those that took time out of their holiday to pray and remember all those people buried at Montrose Cemetery, as many of them were pillars of our community from the earliest days. We are indebted to them for setting up our community and leaving a lasting legacy, and we are eternally grateful.
